One-pound of pasteurized Compost Substrate for mushroom cultivation. Pure coco coir, hydrated to the perfect moisture content and ready to use right out of the bag. Simply add Colonized Grain Spawn, mix, and add to your Growing Chamber or Grow Bag. You can use one to three pounds of Compost Substrate per pound of Grain Spawn.
We recommend topping your grain and compost blend with a layer of Casing to increase humidity and reduce contamination.
These bags should be stored in the refrigerator until use.
