Colonized Grain Spawn Bags are a BIG upgrade from a simple Grain Bag and Syringe, saving you weeks or months of time waiting for grain to colonize.
If you choose the “Default” option, you will receive a cubensis variety of our choice–this is the fastest and cheapest option. If you prefer, you may upgrade and choose your preferred culture. Please keep in mind that this will likely result in a longer wait time.

How much do the colonized grain bags weigh?

In the colonized grain spawn it says “ Must be combined with Compost Substrate and Mulch Casing for a successful grow” does this mean it comes with the casing and mulch, of is it saying I need to buy that separately?

All of the Colonized Spawn has a 1-4 week lead time. Choosing the default option is always the fastest.

You should buy it! I’ve tried 3 or 4 strains and have had nothing but great results. Saves a lot of time and hassle too.
Received quite early and great results! Saved me weeks using already colonized grain spawn. Any questions I had were answered promptly and everyone very friendly and accommodating. Best mycology supplier I have dealt with.
So nice to not have to wait for the grain to colonize at home! Love the convenience and the quality is literally the best around, these guys live to teach people about mushrooms and teach them the right way for the right reasons. Can’t say enough good stuff about them! Grown almost 3/4 of their strains and was always happy! Huge yields and if I had questions they got back to me and helped me out! 🍄🪄👍

Great product!
First one I got had been significantly delayed in shipment and arrived with the ice pack totally melted, and smelled sour when I opened it, I went ahead and put it to sub and it stalled and showed contamination. Contacted the company, they replaced it, and upon receiving replacement, I put it to sub and it became contaminated after colonizing. I have no problem with successful grows using their cultures, start to finish, but not at all successful with the pre-colonized grain spawn.
